I really wanted to make a song for Madness Day this year, but I didn't expect to host a contest with my childhood heroes. I just don't have the time right now! Next year, for sure.

Happy Madness Day, everyone! Much love and support!

Hey everyone!

After seeing how successful Dreams of Paradise City was, I decided to release it on Spotify! This is the perfect chance for me to experiment with pre-save campaigns. Basically, I pitched this song to Spotify playlist consideration. The more pre-saves I get, the likelihood of it landing in a official playlist increases (in theory). If you have a Spotify account, could you pre-save it for me? In exchange, I'll send you a remix ahead of release schedule! Just send me a screenshot confirming the pre-save. :)

Pre-save link: https://push.fm/ps/tglqrtvp (you don't have to pre-add it to Apple Music if you don't want to).

Thank you for your continued support! I love you all!

I just wanted to type a quick note to let the judges of the Neo Geo Jam and NG community know how much this means to me! Expect more music inspired by 90s nostalgia very soon. :)

Congratulations to all of the winners! I can’t believe in bundled with a group of such talented folks. Y’all ROCK!

Hey there!

For this week's song, I wanted to create something that was in your face. The kind of song that makes you go, "Oh, I wonder where this is going to take me." While I am mainly satisfied with how it turned out, the lack of variety really bothers me. I can't seem to think of cool transitions and breakdowns for my songs as of recently. I'm going to continue to study the structure of my favorite music so I can create the best tunes that I possibly can.

What do you think of these weekly updates posts about the music I'm posting? Let me know!

I have some pretty cool news regarding chiptunes and VST plugins. I created 40 presets for a new, groundbreaking VST that's going to make the VGM community go nuts. More on that later. :D

Make sure to follow me! I really appreciate your support!

Until next time,

John

Hey everyone!

In my previous post, I mentioned that I am going to start releasing music every week. It's a very ambitious goal but I'm confident that I can do it! Now for my next goal...

Goal #2:

Once this goal is met, I'll pick 1 random fan from each to receive a $25 Steam gift card! Ultimately, my goal is to create a community where I can interact with my fans. If you like my music and want to stay connected, this is the best way to do so! I promise to always do my best to stay active and interact with everyone.

On that note, should I create a Discord server? Let me know!

I'm going to start releasing music commercially again, meaning all of my popular music on Newgrounds will be available everywhere! If you visit my profile on Spotify, you'll find music that wasn't intended for casual listening. I make music for TV, ads, and films so sometimes my publishers like to release that music on Spotify. You can check it out if you're curious about it. However, I am focusing on vgm/chiptune inspired music again! Make sure you follow me on Spotify so you can listen to my music on the go!

I really appreciate everyone's support. I hope you join me on this journey!

Until next time,

John

Hey everyone!

WOW! We did it! 77 fans as of today. Your support really means the world to me, thank you! As promised, I will start releasing music weekly for as long as I possibly can. Lately, I've been finding it difficult to write music; I can't seem to get a solid idea down. But now that I have met my first goal of 75, I feel inspired again. :) It'll be a fun challenge! You'll see more collaborations as well!

Thanks again for your support! Until next time.

John
